§ 2-82. Program recommendation and administration.

  • The manager shall make recommendations to the council regarding programs to meet the needs and desires of the citizens of the community, including health, safety, welfare, recreation, internal support operations, capital projects and other programs as appropriate or as directed by the council. The manager shall be responsible for carrying out policies, programs, and implementing goals and objectives approved or directed by the council, not inconsistent with federal, state or local laws and ordinances or with the county Charter.
