The art in public places board shall consist of five regular members and two provisional
members. The term of each regular member shall be two years with staggered terms.
The term of each provisional member shall be two years beginning with the appointment
to each term after the adoption of this ordinance. Provisional memberships are intended
to provide additional assistance to the board during a time in which the board will
have a greater than normal work load. Each regular member and each provisional member
shall have equal voting strength on the board and shall be authorized to attend, participate
in, and vote at all board meetings. At the end of the initial two year term, the provisional
memberships shall expire and the board shall revert to only five regular members.
