§ 38-667. Special projecting load limits.

  • The load upon a vehicle operated alone or the load upon the front vehicle of a combination of vehicles shall not extend more than three feet beyond the foremost part of the vehicle, and the load upon any vehicle operated alone or the load upon the rear vehicle of a combination of vehicles shall not extend more than seven feet beyond the rear of the bed or body of such vehicle. If a vehicle combination consists of a tractor, semitrailer and a trailer, the rear overhang is limited to a maximum of two feet on the trailer and semitrailer and no front overhang.
