§ 28-71. Assault.

  • It is unlawful to:

    (1)

    Attempt to commit a battery upon the person of another; or

    (2)

    Commit any unlawful act, threat or menacing conduct, or use insulting or abusive language, which causes another person to reasonably believe that he is in danger of receiving an immediate battery.
